Before graduating high school, John enlisted in the Marine Corps knowing he wanted to serve his country. He served for four years in and during Vietnam and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He then attended college and after graduation, became a certified CPA and started his business that he still runs to this day - helping small businesses and everyday people keep their hard earned money, navigate burdensome regulations, and avoid backlash from the IRS.

John’s father was a WWII veteran with Patton’s 3rd Army and his mother a waitress. His service to Country in the USMC taught him the importance of hard work and unbending patriotism. John and his wife, Doreen, raised their children on the core values of God, hard work, and patriotism.

John has been extensively involved in his community, both personally and professionally. He volunteered as a Little League coach for 11 years, has served on a number of organization and business boards, including the Northern Virginia Football Officials Association, and served as a local football referee for over 30 years.

John was a day one supporter of President Trump, starting in 2016. He proudly supported President Trump during the 2016 Republican Primary, again in 2020, and again during the 2024 Republican Primary. John is a proud MAGA Republican and makes no apology for it.
